Best Home Based Business Opportunities and Quality of Life
Quality of life is a really important issue for many people. Sometimes we get caught up in the rat race of everyday life, we are unsure of why we are not happy and why we are so busy. Everyone needs to step back once and a while to examine their lifestyle and determine what changes they need to make. Developing a home business can be a solution, however it is easy to fall into the same trap.
If you have ever worked as an employee for a company, big or small, many people get used to the idea of working regular hours, starting at the same time every day and finishing at the same time. Nice routine, leaving time to pursue other extracurricular activities. Some people will work overtime on a regular basis and get paid for it, however they will sacrifice their personal and family lives. The answer they believe is to develop their own home based business, so they will have the flexibility to work and play on their own schedule.
The best home based business opportunities will allow this flexibility, however many entrepreneurs quickly fall into the trap of working far more hours than they ever worked before while they were employed. When you are working for yourself, many people will justify it as an investment in their business. Quality of life begins to suffer when this becomes a habit, when founders work 6 or 7 days a week and more than 10 hours a day.
The answer is easy, however it takes a lot of discipline to maintain an appropriate quality of life as well as a standard of comfort that you are looking for. If this is important for you, then start by setting some time aside each day for yourself and your family. Even if it is an hour, it will be time well spent for several reasons. First of all you will be in a much better frame of mind when you actually go to work, secondly your family members will appreciate having you around and third, even though you may not be at work, your subconscious is still engaged at solving whatever problems you may have.
Take advantage of this suggestion to improve your quality of life while you work at your best home based business. You know the saying, too much work makes for a dull boy or girl! Home based businesses are great for their flexibility, but you need to have the discipline to take time off and manage your time.

Internet Marketing on a Low Budget: An Open Letter
Recently I was contacted by a client who was frustrated that her marketing efforts were not producing results like she expected. In an attempt to address her concerns, I realized how many other professionals are in the same boat. What follows is an open letter to professionals everywhere who are struggling to attract new clients and make money online.
Dear Entrepreneur and Professional:
First, let's address the issue of finances. I understand fully what it is like to invest in your own business, work hard, and see little income. Sometimes it seems as if you work for pleasure, and indeed there is much pleasure involved. It's not unusual for entrepreneurs to be passionate about their business and services and many would do what they love for free.
But it can't work that way, and you must see the money or your business will perish. Finally, after a couple of years of trickle income, we are now seeing results in our own online business, and are making a comfortable living solely from information and services sold on the Internet.
It takes time. And it involves having lots of digital information products people can buy and download instantly. In order to sell them, you have to have a powerful web presence and be easily findable to the millions of people who Google for solutions to their problems.
People can't find you with just a web site. You need a blog, and you need to write on it frequently - daily is best; two to three times per week is good. An electronic newsletter, or ezine, is also a great marketing tool, and it needs to be posted on the Web, or on your blog.
You need to write and submit articles to article directories so people can find you better. Your articles need to include contact information and links back to your website and products.
You need the infrastructure in place so you can follow up with automated email messages to people who contact you requesting information, purchase your products and register for your events.
It's a good idea to do teleclasses, some for free, so you build your list, connect with people and get them into your higher priced seminars.
There are other business models, and I am most familiar with what I have done myself, and helped other entrepreneurs to do.
When Denise and I joined Tom Antion's Mentee Program, it was a considerable financial commitment. We send him a check every month out of our earnings, which are steadily increasing thanks to his tutelage. It's worth it to learn and model what works from one who has been there and is a multi-millionaire.
As the saying goes, you can't get to Carnegie Hall without lots of practice, and that takes an investment of time, patience and money.
There are no easy solutions. Continue doing what works and invest in those areas of your business that provide the biggest payoff. Get training. Invest in the infrastructure and tools that allow you to save time and market effortlessly. Avoid overwhelm by implementing tools slowly, getting used to one and observing your results before going to the next step. Building a business on the Internet is not about getting rich quick. It's about hard work and persistent effort that will pay off in the long run.

Here's How To Make Money From Home doing MLM - Without Sponsoring Anyone Or Selling Product
Copyright (c) 2006 Michael Senoff
If you are in an MLM company struggling to make money and looking for a quick way to get cash flowing in fast and steady, this article will show you how to accomplish it.
Listen to this:
Not long ago I got a consulting call from someone who was in an MLM company. He was having a hard time making any money at all -- much less recouping his initial $1,800 investment.
He did not know where to go or who to turn to. All of the ideas and literature his company gave him weren't working but he still believed in the product.
Here is what I advised him to do:
I told him, first of all, forget about selling any product or sponsoring anyone for the time being.
He can still do all that, but for now, he needs to do something a bit different if he wants to make any money in his MLM business.
I told him that there were two things he could do:
1.) He can call and interview the top ten or so distributors at his company and ask them how they are making so much money.
In other words, what are they doing? How are they sponsoring or selling so much? Are they doing what their home company says? Or are they doing something different?
And what I told him he could do is take these interviews and do mini "joint ventures" with each person he interviews, selling that product to their downlines and splitting the profits.
That is the first idea I suggested.
2.) The second idea is to do the same thing, except make it more generic. Take out all the company specific stuff and sell it to all MLM people in general.
In other words, you are selling all the best sponsoring and product sales techniques and showing all MLM people -- not just those in your business -- how to do them.
And that's all there is to it.
The idea here is to merge your network marketing business with an "information" marketing business. Get the best of both worlds.
There are a ton of hungry prospects out there wanting to make it big in MLM. If you can be the person with the secrets -- whether you are selling to people in your own company or people in all MLM companies -- you can make a fortune selling this kind of information.
